Setting up moemate:

moemate is accessible through both web app and desktop app. Webapp is accessible at https://app.moemate.io

Once the app loads in your browser, Login/Signup through one of these available options:

• Github
• Discord
• Email

As is typical, in case you forget your password, you can always click on “Forgot Password” to reset it.

Intro:

Fill out the brief Intro quiz to improve your experience with moemate. You will be asked for:

• Name
• Pronouns
• Interests
• Models
  • Language Model: We offer a wide range of LLM models including GPT 4, Claude v2, Wizard and more
  • Image Model: Select from over 30+ Image generation models
  • Selfie Model: We offer over 32 models with which you can create selfies
  • Voice model: Select between Eleven labs and Azure voices

Interface:

You can Talk to your moemate by simple pressing the Alt/Option key twice and holding it the second time

1-Characters Gallery:

Select from default available characters or import your own from elsewhere. Supported characters include VRMs and V2 card.

• Import characters: Click the + icon and import your VRM or V2 cards. You can get character from chub.ai and VRoid Studio
• Clear characters: Reset your gallery to default settings. This removes any of the custom characters too

2-Chat Box: Shows chat with your moemate

3-Text Chat: Talk to your moemate via text. You can also use emojis in your messages

4-Character: Your selected moemate character which talks, emotes and expresses

5-Omni Button:

Omni button has multiple functionalities

• Voice talk: Press and hold omni button to voice talk with the moemate
• Companion settings: Click the omni button once to open companion settings
• Interrupt talk: Press the omni button twice to interrupt your moemate from talking

6-Download Desktop app:

The Web version is the minimalist version of the app. Download the Desktop app to experience the app with even more features like Screen Perception, Twitch integration and much more.

Logout: Logout of the app if you want to switch accounts or want to create a new one

7-Chat options:

• Intro: Update your intro which includes name, pronouns and interests
• Search Memories: Search a specific memory among the chat messages
• Export memories: Export your memories with AI and share it with others or store it for yourself
• Import memories: Import Memory files shared by others or even your own exported ones
• Clear memories: Wipe out all of the loaded memories

Companion Settings:

Companion settings offer a wide range of customizations for your moemates. You can access the companion settings by clicking the omni button once. You will see 4 basic options at the top:

Info:

The Info section lets you customize basic information about your moemates and how they can interact with you

• Name
• Bio: Brief history about the character
• Visual description: Visual features of the character (used in selfie generation)
• Personality: Describe how the character should behave
• Scenario: Give a particular scenario to your character
• Message example: Set a message example for your AI, how it should compose messages
• First message: How should the character greet you
• System Prompt: Modify the system prompt

Skills:

Enable or disable specific skills

• Emotion
• Mood
• Converse
• Image generation
• Take selfie
• Web Search

Export:

Export your moemates as V2 cards and share them with your friends

• Generate avatar card: Generates the V2 card of your character. Right click and save it.

Models:

moemate offers a vast and ever-expanding range of characters to choose from. Switch between different characters and try them out.

Image Model:

We offer 30+ image generation models. You can choose models which are proficient in certain categories including ART, Photorealism, NSFW and Anime

Selfie Model:

Selfies are created based on the visual description of the characters. Like image models, we have 30+ Selfie generation models which all give different results.

LLM Model:

We offer 7 LLM models from different providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and LLama2; each proficient in certain categories including roleplay, assistant, NSFW and coding. These are the LLM models we currently offer; more to come soon!

Voice Model:

We offer voice models by two providers, Azure and Eleven labs. There are 30+ voice options available to select from. You can filter them based on categories such as: Gender, Language and Styles. With Azure voices, you can select various settings including:
